Withregard to the timing belt if the garage who serviced it cant confirm that the belt, tensioners and water pump have been changed withing 50k and not the recomended 90k then the only thing you can do is have it changed. Jim, the 156,147 and Gt 16v jtd's all have the same waterpump seizing problem, its the same pump used on cf3
