Open the Instrument page, and set the instrument to Drum Pads and DNB Kit. Right-click on the instrument track and select Create Region to add a MIDI clip. Double click this to bring up the Editor page, and double-click to add ride hits on each beat. Turn the DNB Kit track down to -3dB to balance it with the rest of the elements.
Step 2. Drag and drop the Sample directly into the FLS Step Sequencer. We will be usings FL's standard Slicer as opposed to Slicer X, which is tailored for triggering samples on the fly using its integrated filters. FL Studio will conveniently load up the loop, pre-sliced and ready to roll.

This gives us a basic tresillo rhythm. Bring the velocity of the second hat down to 87, then duplicate out the pattern on the next two beats. Add another hat on the final 16th note, this time with a velocity of 52. Now duplicate this bar out, and the second time around delete the quieter hat at the end..
